Welcome

We have been raising, breeding and handling Scottish Highland Cattle

at the Augustenhof for almost a quarter century.

Although we both had non-agricultural professions ( teacher & surgeon ),

these years of experience have turned us into recognized experts

in the Highland Scene.

Unfortunately my husband Dietrich passed away in March 2010,

but his ideas and expectations are still influencing

the Augustenhof-breeding-plans.

Since the beginning, our goal has been to preserve the unique attributs

and the various colours found within the Highland Breed.
